Charity Boxing Fighting for Inclusion
At Unspoken, we are committed to creating spaces where every individual is seen, supported and celebrated. Our Charity Boxing project is a powerful expression of that commitment – using the discipline of sport to raise awareness and vital funds for children with Down syndrome.
One of our proudest moments has been working with Rhys, an outstanding and passionate boxing student with Down syndrome. Rhys trained rigorously for a charity boxing match, pushing himself physically and mentally while embodying the spirit of resilience and joy.
His fight night was more than just a bout in the ring – it was a statement to the world about what's possible when we nurture potential instead of limiting it. The event raised crucial funds for the Peterborough Area Down Syndrome Group (PADSG), helping to support programmes, resources and community for children and families who need it most.
Through initiatives like Charity Boxing, we aim to build a world where difference is met with opportunity, not obstacles. Rhys' journey continues to inspire us to champion inclusion, challenge assumptions and create platforms where every story has the chance to shine.

Why it matters
Charity Boxing proves that when you give someone a platform, you don't just change their life – you shift how an entire community sees what's possible.
